The Mindful Mini program is a series of classes (25-minutes each) designed to introduce children to mindfulness-based tools helpful for stress-reduction, self-management, and emotional awareness. Classes are centered around relaxation, creativity, imagination, gratitude and awareness; all of which are scientifically proven to aid in children's success in school, in relationships, and developing a connection with themselves. Activities include yoga, breathing techniques, drawing, mindful movement, sharing our experience with emotions, and other interactive mindfulness games including sensory descriptions. We welcome ages 6-10 to this online class. Space is limited.
This class will be held virtually via Zoom Video Conferencing. We ask that you register using an email address if you’re planning to attend as well as cancel your registration if you are no longer able to make it. Following registration for this class, your Zoom meeting link, as well as any materials needed (minimal if any), will be sent to your email address on the day before your class. For your security, the meeting will be locked 2-minutes after class start time (we ask that you arrive on time to be sure you're let in to the virtual classroom).
