Tech Goes Home strives to ensure that all residents of the City of Boston are equipped with the tools, training, and access to support 21st-century skill development. The TGH program offers residents the ability to improve their quality of life as new members of the online community, and use the internet to Live, Learn, Earn, Work, and Play.

What’s included for Boston residents?

  • An opportunity to spend 18 quality hours of training as part of a community of learners in a virtual learning space
  • Help accessing significantly discounted high-speed Internet for qualified participants, or use of a free Wifi-hotspot
  • A web-based curriculum designed to help you access the powerful resources on the Internet
  • TGH participants are eligible to receive a brand-new Chromebook computer for an optional donation of $50! Participants must complete 18 hours of training to keep this computer

Those who are unemployed, low-income, or without a computer or home have priority. Registration is limited. Application deadline is Wednesday Sep. 16.
