Join us for a performance by Matthew Vera as part of our Concerts in the Courtyard Series, which is sponsored by Bank of America.

Matthew Vera is known for his versatility as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and teacher. He has been a member of the Boston Philharmonic's first violin section since 2010. Matthew is also a violinist with Castle of our Skins (COOS), a concert and educational series dedicated to celebrating Black artistry through music. From classroom workshops to concert halls, COOS explores Black heritage and culture celebrating figures of the past and present. A native of Tucson AZ, Matthew is a graduate of The New England Conservatory where he studied with James Buswell, Lucy Chapman, and Donald Weilerstein. To learn more, visit his Facebook page.
