Students will learn about the engineering design process, trajectory physics, the different types of catapults, and their historical and modern uses. Students will then design and build their own catapults using craft sticks, tape, rubber bands, and spoons. This is one of our weekly workshops for kids, grades 4–8, thanks to Northeastern STEM Outreach Club.
The program will take place in person on the Jamaica Plain Branch's outdoor terrace. Space may be limited. Please register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
