Virtual Tech Goes Home in August

Tech Goes Home strives to ensure that all residents of the City of Boston are equipped with the tools, training, and access to support 21st-century skill development. The TGH program offers residents the ability to improve their quality of life as new members of the online community, and use the internet to Live, Learn, Earn, Work, and Play.

Classes will run on Zoom, August 3 to September 2, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

What’s included for Boston residents?

  • An opportunity to spend 15 quality hours of training as part of a community of learners in a virtual learning space
  • Help accessing significantly discounted high-speed Internet for qualified participants
  • A web-based curriculum designed to help you access the powerful resources on the Internet
  • Outside of class time, participants can make one-on-one appointments with staff at the Central Library in Copley Square
  • TGH participants are eligible to receive a brand new Chromebook computer for an optional donation of $50! Participants must complete 15 hours of training to keep this computer.

Registration is limited. If you are interested in participating, please fill out our interest form, or call 617-859-2323. To ensure computer delivery before the start of the course, registration closes on Wednesday, July 21 at 4:00 pm.
