EventsTalking Trash & Recycling

Talking Trash & Recycling

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Description

Think all the items in your recycling bin are recyclable and being recycled? Are you confused about what should go in your trash barrel and what should go in your recycling bin?

Join Keep Massachusetts Beautiful for a presentation and discussion of ways we can all reduce waste and improve recycling.

The Talking Trash & Recycling program is an interactive presentation that will teach you what really happens to trash and recyclables in Boston. You will learn ways to reduce the amount of trash you generate, improve your recycling habits, make small changes to lead a more sustainable lifestyle, and help Boston achieve its solid waste reduction goals. We also provide an overview of MassDEP's RecycleSmartMA program.

This program is delivered in approximately 45 minutes, with 15-30 additional minutes of questions and answers at the end.

This is one of many CREW Week 2021 events across the Commonwealth.
