The Lab in Teen Central is a space for teens to get creative, explore technology, and gain new skills! Whether you're interested in 3D printing, music production, digital art, coding, video editing, robotics, game design, animation, and more there is something in The Lab for you.

The Lab is a fully equipped digital makerspace for teens:

  • High performance computers, both Macs and PCs including 4 brand new Alienware gaming PCs, all loaded with creative software for any project you can imagine
  • MIDI keyboards and quality microphones to record your own lyrics, melodies, and beats
  • Robotics and circuitry kits such as Raspberry Pis, LittleBits, Makey Makeys, and Sparkfun Inventor kits
  • MakerBot 3D printer to make all your own 3D designs real
  • And much more!

During Open Lab teens are welcome to use the space and all its resources however they choose! Library staff will be on hand to give support and answer questions but the time is truly yours to explore, create, and collaborate.
