Reading the Rainbow: An LGBTQ Book Group - Beowulf for Cretins

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Description

Reading the Rainbow is an online-exclusive book group geared towards members of the LGBTQ+ community interested in reading queer fiction, memoirs, and graphic novels, especially those that center on sapphic, transgender, and nonbinary identities. All communication will take place on the messaging platform Slack: no webcam or microphone needed! Meetings will take place on the second Friday of the month at 4pm.

Join us on December 9 for a lively discussion of Ann McMann's Beowulf for Cretinsa lesbian romance novel about an English professor/aspiring novelist who meets a mysterious and engaging woman on a cross-country flight. All book club titles are available on hoopladigital.com. For more information on using Hoopla, please visit the BPL's Stream and Download page.
