This English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Chorus provides you with an opportunity to make vocal music, improve your English language skills, and develop friendships with fellow community members — singers from Back Bay Chorale.
Led by Associate Conductor & Director of Community Engagement Katherine Chan, you will learn basic singing skills and songs in English. At the end of each class, you will have the opportunity to make new friends and practice your English conversation skills with them.
Class are held Tuesday mornings, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Central Library in Copley Square (700 Boylston Street) in the Commonwealth Salon.
This ESOL Chorus is FREE for all participants. No previous music skills are required, and all English learners are welcome. Registration, however, is required to attend. Please only complete the registration form if you are attending: https://bbcboston.org/bridges/...
Please see Boston Public Library's COVID-19 FAQs for the latest guidelines when visiting the library. In-person classes are subject to becoming Zoom-only if needed to protect the health and safety of our participants.
