Join us as we have a reading and activity with local author Charline Melon as she shares her first book Merlyne’s Hidden Treasures of Haiti. The book is written in both English and Haitian Creole and shares the story about a young girl named Merlyne who explores the beauty of Haitian culture and history while on vacation with her family. From the beautiful beaches, to the amazing food, and historical monuments, the family enjoys it all while learning some important life lessons along the way.
