Dr. Kate Turk will explain how individuals can distinguish changes in memory due to Alzheimer's versus normal aging, what medications, diets and exercise regimes can help, and the best habits, strategies, and memory aids to use. She will also discuss her colleague, Dr. Andrew Budson’s new book, Six Steps to Managing Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia: A Guide for Families. Topics covered in the book include how families can manage issues with memory, language, vision, behavior, driving, incontinence, sleep, and more.

Dr. Katherine Turk is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine and Co-Leader of the Outreach, Recruitment & Engagement Core at the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
