Join us as we learn about the upcoming solar eclipse! Bring your own cardboard box if you'd like to make a pinhole camera, or just watch to see how it's done. Find out why a tiny moon can cover up an enormous sun, and also why it doesn't happen every month. Experiment with light and shadow, and share stories about the amazing things we can see in the sky.
Each person who attends will also get a pair of ISO approved solar eclipse glasses to use, which will be especially important in Boston, where the eclipse will only reach 93% of totality. (It will still be cool, though.)
If you come by car, please be aware that the large tempting parking lot across the street from us has some strict time limits, which are enforced by towing.
