Pride Month Family Concert with Carrie Ferguson

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Egleston Square

Description

Celebrate Pride Month with a jubilant sing-along dance party, highlighting themes of inclusivity, social justice, Earth stewardship and LGBTQ youth/family pride.

Carrie Ferguson's original music for children and their parents is creative, positive, thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and catchy as cake! As a non-binary artist, Carrie’s goal is to inspire listeners to use their inner strength to celebrate and show up for themselves, other people, and the world in general. Carrie’s music has won numerous awards including two First Prizes in the Children’s Music category of the New England Songwriting Competition; and a Gold Prize for Children’s Music in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Competition. Their recent album, The Grumpytime Club, offers children and families welcoming and inclusive messages about accepting feelings, celebrating differences, and loving themselves exactly as they are.
