Why We Love Cemeteries with Roberto Mighty

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Parker Hill

Description

Roberto Mighty will lead this program about three of his original cemetery projects: the PBS series "World’s Greatest Cemeteries"; the augmented reality colonial graveyard project, “We Were Here Too,” and his inaugural artist residency at Mount Auburn Cemetery, “earth.sky”. Roberto will share surprising stories, film clips, and photos about diverse historical figures interred in Boston and around the world including landscape architecture, horticulture, wildlife and trees, local cemetery monuments, an introduction to interpreting gravestones; and other exciting topics.

For the Q&A, come ready to share about your favorite cemetery!
