Is cooking an art form? What do community cookbooks reveal about the communities that created them? How have cooking arts evolved, as captured in these cookbooks? The Rare Books Department has acquired a collection of community cookbooks and is excited to show them off! Stop by our special open house to take a look and consider what we can learn from studying cookbooks and cooking arts.

Join us on Tuesday April 29 from 2 pm - 4 pm for a special open house where staff will be available to answer questions as you explore collection items up close. No reservation is required to attend this open house.
