Description

The Brighton Branch is partnering with St. Mark's Community Education! St. Mark's offers free classes to adults in the Greater Boston area for immigrants to thrive and enrich their communities.

The Citizenship Exam Preparation Class is a 10-week course to prepare students to take the citizenship exam. Offering instruction to improve English and to learn all 100 questions of the civics portion of the test. Taught by experienced and trained teachers. Individual tutoring available in each class to review lesson materials.

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Have your green card for 4 years and 9 months or 2 years and 9 months if your spouse is a US Citizen.
  2. Be able to speak some English.
  3. Attend 80% of classes. If you register and do not attend class, you are taking a seat from someone else.

This class is free.

The Brighton Branch is walking distance from the B and C branches of the Green Line, and we are also close to several bus routes. There is limited free parking available. To find our parking lot on a map, search "Westminster Terrace, Brighton, MA" in your map application.
