Yoga for Active Adults presented by YogaHub

Description

Join your fellow community members for an invigorating and meditative yoga practice! This class is perfect for adults of all ages who like to be active.

Vinyasa is an active, movement-based class that unites the breath with physical poses to cultivate a meditative state of mind. Your YogaPro will guide you through a series of postures that improve balance, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility. Modified posture variations will be offered to accommodate all bodies, including how to use props or household prop substitutes. Your YogaPro will also offer wisdom from yoga philosophy to inspire your journey. You’ll conclude with total stillness and relaxation. 

Yoga mats, blocks, and straps will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.



Meet Your YogaPro

Adam Koslen, RYT 200, is endlessly excited to share his love of Yoga. His goal is to inspire, unite and empower students to lead healthy, balanced, fulfilling lives. Among the many benefits, Adam practices Yoga himself to lower stress, improve focus and health. Adam became certified at the world-famous Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. He currently teaches in Boston at the YMCA in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Chinatown as well as Luna Fitness Club.
