Description

Everyone with a connection to South Boston is invited to share their story at this free event.

Bring 2-3 photographs (print, digital, or on a cell phone) to be copied and added to the statewide digital collection at openarchives.umb.edu

This event celebrates each person's history and contribution to South Boston and will digitize their family photos for future generations! 

  • You will be asked to write a description of your photos and then the photos will be scanned and returned to you.  
  • You will have the opportunity to record a video interview about your photos (optional). 
  • Photos will be available for the public to view online.
