Talks for Better Living with Sharon Salzberg - Transforming the World from the Inside Out: Meditation as a Tool for Developing Courage and Compassion

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Description

Join us for this online talk with Sharon Salzberg in partnership with the Citywide Friends of the Boston Public Library and Porter Square Books for this inaugural talk in the new Talks for Better Living series.

In times of uncertainty and change, we can draw on some practical tools to help us move beyond constricting habitual patterns such as fear, denial, and despair. Awakening the inner capacities for love and compassion that we all have, we can learn to transform our worldview from one of isolation and confusion to one of connection and clarity. We can open ourselves to a power of courage based on seeing things just as they are.
