Events › Guided Lab: Get Help with Your Creative Tech Pursuits [#teencentral]

Every Wednesday, come to the Lab to get support in whatever creative projects you are looking to do with the Lab's special technology! Teen technology staff will be on hand to get you started or answer any questions you have, help you troubleshoot issues, or figure out how to make your vision a reality. Whether you are looking to beef up a portfolio, create something for school, learn something new, or find new ways to express yourself, the Lab and its staff is here to help!

Here is a short-list of just some of the activities you can do in the Lab:

• Cricut vinyl cutting
• Digital Art
• Game Design
• Graphic Design
• Fashion, sewing, knitting, or crocheting

No registration or prior skill necessary, just drop in any time between 2 pm and 6 pm on a Wednesday!

The Lab at Teen Central is the teen-exclusive digital makerspace at the Central Library in Copley Square. This space contains high performing iMacs and Alienware PCs all with the Adobe Creative Cloud and other creative software, as well as 3D printers, an audio booth, sewing machines, Cricut cutting machines, and more! The Lab is open to all 6^th-12^th graders (or 12-17 year olds) who are interested in getting creative with technology. It is a resource for the teens of Boston and Massachusetts to explore new technology, gain 21^st century skills, express themselves creatively, and become better digital citizens.
