Finding the History in Your Neighborhood

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Parker Hill

Description

What do you want to learn about your neighborhood’s history?

Join us in this interactive workshop to create a plan of action for navigating Boston Public Library’s collections of photographs, maps, atlases, newspapers, city directories, databases, online resources, and more. You will come away with a deeper understanding of the ways these BPL materials relate to local history, some strategies for searching BPL collections, and how Library staff can support and consult with you on your search.
