Events › Spring Bird Walk at Jamaica Pond with Michael Bryant

Join us at Jamaica Pond with Michael Bryant, aka Nature Man Mike, to look for spring migrants and resident birds.

This two-hour walk is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced birders. 

Limited loaner binoculars will be available to borrow on a first come, first serve basis, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have them. 

This walk will involve walking on paved surfaces as well as dirt and grass paths.

NOTE: We will meet at the boathouse/canoe dock at Jamaica Pond at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 30, NOT at the Connolly Branch. The Connolly Branch is listed as the location simply so more patrons can become aware of this event. The boathouse/canoe dock is at 507 Jamaicaway, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.

Michael Bryant, aka Nature Man Mike, is a professional photographer, photography workshop instructor, local bird walk guide, and host of international bird photography tours and workshops. He has twenty years of experience as a nature photographer and fifteen years as a professional photographer. Through the world of birding, he’s worked with various organizations such as Mass Audubon, Franklin Park Coalition, Brookline Bird Club, Arnold Arboretum, Fenway Civic Association, and more.
