New to the internet? This class is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of navigating the online world. We'll break down the essentials of the internet and web browsers in a simple, easy-to-understand way. If you've ever felt confused about how to get online, this class will give you the confidence you need.

In this class, you'll learn:

  • What is the Internet? We'll explain the internet in simple terms, so you understand how it works.
  • What is a Browser? Discover what a browser is and why you need it.
  • Navigating a Browser: Learn the different parts of a browser window and how to find your way around.
  • Visiting Websites: We'll show you how to type website addresses into the address bar and how to click on links to get where you want to go.
  • Using Tabs: Learn how to open and use multiple tabs to easily switch between different websites.

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to gain confidence using the internet. No prior computer experience is required! We'll take things step-by-step.
