Oral History: The Very Basics

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
South Boston

Description

Oral history is a method of gathering and preserving the voices and perspectives of people who have lived history. Join us for an interactive oral history workshop, led by the BPL Community History Department. Together, we’ll go over the basics of oral history, recording and interview practices, and a hands-on demonstration of the BPL Oral History Backpack. Come ready to practice interviewing and active listening!
