Trailing History: National Park Service Pop-Up

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
East Boston

Description

Join the National Park Service for a mobile pop-up that explores Boston's revolutionary stories.

Who has been a changemaker in your community?

What spaces in your community inspire change?

The stories of Boston and its neighborhoods define its legacy as a revolutionary city. From the American War for Independence to today, the people and places of greater Boston have sparked change.

In public spaces and private homes, changemakers have advocated to expand the ideals and values from 1776 in order to move towards a more perfect union.

"Trailing History” is a mobile engagement station that brings the stories of Boston’s rich revolutionary history to local communities during the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Through a series of interactive programs and displays we invite residents to consider sites, people, and stories of revolutions in their own communities.
