Mission Hill Community History Zine Making

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Parker Hill

Description

Can we take media into our own hands? How can we learn from our own cultures, histories, and places; and what might we carry forward with us? If you'd like to answer these questions, and hopefully pose a few more, then join Ujima Boston at the Parker Hill Branch of the Boston Public Library on December 13 for a community history and zine-making workshop! We'll lift up our community and neighborhood histories in Roxbury and Mission Hill, and we'll make small zines and publications to share what we learn together.
