Upper Room Duo's music centers around reimagined classics across R&B, soul, pop, funk, jazz, and contemporary hits. Attendees can expect a high-energy yet approachable performance experience with dynamic musicianship, strong vocal performances, and fresh interpretations of familiar songs that appeal across generations.

About the Upper Room Duo:

Will Nelson Jr. and Loren Benn are a dynamic performance duo whose work combines world-class musicianship with innovative use of technology. Both graduates of Berklee College of Music, they bring a unique mix of artistry and professionalism shaped by years in the music industry - from the classroom and board room to the stage.

Will, founder and director of Upper Room Entertainment, is a guitarist and producer known for his versatility and one-man-band performances that seamlessly blend live instrumentation and looping. Loren, an accomplished vocalist, Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, and music business leader, serves on the board of the Boston Jazz Foundation and is recognized for her ability to connect audiences through both performance and her deep expertise in artist development and advocacy.

As partners in life and in music, Will and Loren bring an effortless chemistry to the stage, delivering performances that are soulful, polished, and distinctly modern. Together, they embody Upper Room Entertainment’s mission to reimagine live music with excellence, innovation, and style.

Registration is not required but the limited amount of seating is first come, first served. 

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Rabb Lecture Hall.
