Add a Commenti haven't seen this movie in years i've seen this on vhs at my local library back in 2007-2008
it's been a very long time.i ordered this movie from imcpl.org it's so funny.
Considerable talent in this comedy, therefore it is all the more surprising that it is an utter misfire. The humor is inane, the gags juvenile, the antics preposterous. Watch "Fawlty Towers" instead.
A good comedy/love story/heist movie with a young Jamie Lee Curtis. John Cleese is very good, Michael Palin does well, but Kevin Kline's Otto steals the show. Quite funny and worth the watch.
Brilliantly funny film. Kevin Kline is SO good, as are Michael Palin and John Cleese (formerly of Monty Python fame). Made me laugh helplessly that last time I saw it, and it's on my list to see again.
Hello,
I have not been able to watch this disc bc it is damaged.
Haven't seen it since it first came out, 1988 until now, 2015. Still makes me laugh out loud.
i realize i am an island all to my own here. a complete minority of my views on this film, but respectfully to those who have reviewed before me, i give you my 2 cents:
Amazing that a film that held so much talent could be so boring. i saw this as a kid and thought it was ok. As an adult i couldn't get thru it. It was droll and downright boring and before 20 minutes you have figured the entire plot. My respects to the amazingly talented names attached to it and all i can say is the editor should have been fired.
In the end, as i have said, i'm the odd one out, so i encourage you to watch this movie for yourself. From the looks below, you may really enjoy it. I, unfortunately, did not.
Sexy, juicy, hilarious comedy. Great casting and performances. A "must see".
A classic, with John Cleese and many good actors.
This funny, funny film is still funny now almost a quarter of a century later.
Kevin Kline's Oscar for best support is well deserved but I truly think Michael Palin was stealing most scenes he was in.
