A-- opportunity. But is salvation just another pipe dream? Propelled by a blistering first-person voice and featuring a powerfully compelling antihero, Fiend is at once a riveting portrait of addiction, a pitch-black love story, and a meditation on hope, redemption, and delusion--not to mention one hell of a zombie novel.

Funny premise... the only people to survive the zombie apocalypse are meth heads cause something in the drug prevents the zombie virus thing... the creations of these characters is interesting but it was a tough read. There was only one voice and if others said something it was through his thoughts. Not a single dialogue quote was used in the entire book. Essentially if I am hoping the entire time that all the characters die, or rather get the dying over with sooner so I can read something else, it's not a good sign.
