Am I the only person who hated, hated, HATED this book? I found Tess very annoying and dramatic, stubborn enough to stay with her silence instead of defending her friend, pretty much portraying that she cares more about her stupid protest than the people who accept her. Then boom, she's mad at her flashlight and throws it in the trash. Like, what??? So I'm sorry if this isn't a popular opinion, but I just did not like this book.

The ending tore me apart. But this book was one of the best I have ever read.
