must-watch 80's english tv series. love all the paganism & hearne the hunter is so important in our history. i always say if you are british, you are pagan by birthright. the original 13 episdodes are what made me want to become a pagan & i did. clearly diffentiates between british paganism (good) & witchcraft (bad) & also correctly shows how the church tolerated paganism (& still do today!) best robin hood series or film ever made!

Whoever did Russell Crowe's version of Robin Hood must have seen this a while back. I suspect they thought they were safe to steal some of the elements, since this has got to be one of the worst television series ever, and that's saying quite a lot. In fact, it may be bad enough to develop a cult following. A fairly divergent Robin Hood saga, mixed with Druidic, pagan, Eytian, Norse, and even Arhturian mythologies. Overlaid with a heavy-handed soundtrack that definitely alerts you whenever a bad guy shows up. (And it's going to take a while to get that theme song out of my head: "o/` ROB-in [OB-in] , Rob-in [ob-in], the hooded man ... o/`")
