One of the most inspirational books I have read in a very long time. Coach Summitt was my idol and she will always be the Wizard of Knoxville.

I don't remember enjoying any sports autobiography as much as I did this. Larger than life figure. Possessed, often seemingly abusive, generous, tough loving mother figure. Her former players adore her and have gone on to great things in their own lives. She seems to remember them all. I am astounded by the statistic that 100% of her four-year players graduated. At other big-time universities, the label "student athlete" is just a joke.

I really enjoyed this book. I am not a sports fan at all but she is a fascinating woman. She really was never given anything in her whole life yet she gave and gave and gave to her family, coworkers and players. Many lessons to be learned from her.

A remarkable story told with honesty and courage. Pat Summitt is candid and tells about her journey from farm girl to the tremendously successful college coach she has become. She tells about her recent diagnosis of Alzheimer's. She is a living example of courage, hard work, and determination. I learned so much from the book about life.

This book is terrific! I have always thought of Pat Summitt and the University of Tennessee basketball team as a juggernaut, but this book explains how that came to be. Pat Summitt built that great program from nothing, starting at age 22. She has incredible strength of character, and what she has achieved is truly remarkable. Reading this book makes me feel like I know her personally. This book also helps illustrate how Title IX changed the world. I recommend this book to everyone!

This book is the whole life of a farm girl from Henrietta, TN and what she did with her life. It shares all the highs and lows in her life and the final diagnosis of Alzheimer's. It is full of hard work, love of basketball and of the girls that play it, and of family. Truly inspirational.
