Comment
Add a CommentHoly cow. This book was non-stop from the first chapter. This is the second book in the Revivalist series which puts a very cool twist on modern-day zombies. There was so much going on that it was a bit exhausting at times, but is also what made it impossible to put down. I know characters are meant to be stripped down so we can root for them to pull it back together, but this went so far that I flinched at some points. The emotional, physical, and psychological trauma the Bryn went through was torturous (at times, literally), but Caine ends it with a glimmer of hope. It's not exactly a cliffhanger ending (which I appreciate), but it's obviously a lead-in to the next book, which I can't wait to read.
