Oh how I would have loved this book when I was 10 years old, when a home-made rubber band gun fashioned from a piece of scrap wood and a clothespin completely transformed a very dull several weeks of my summer (until it was confiscated by my mom at the behest of my terrorized older sister). For more responsible youths than I was, and those fresh out of the ConfabuLarryum ready to do some practical physics, this book is a must. Rubber band helicopters, hydraulic fighting robots, slingshot rockets . . . need I say more?
