In this letter to William Lloyd Garrison, Mary Anne Rawson provides instructions for Garrison to reach her home from the Sheffield station. She says that while many people in Sheffield would like to meet Garrison, Rawson lives "a very seculded life" and invited only "the two most active public philanthropists in the town, and therefore the most worthy to enjoy the great privilege of meeting you."
