one of the things that bothers me about modern christian music is there is little reference to God, or Christ. Little talk about God's truth, a lot of talk about feelings, and maybe references that a Christian could understand. But I think if I was an unbeliever listening to this I would be like....who is he singing about? A close friend, a girlfriend, his wife? This album suffers from "positive and encouraging" k-love mentality but I can't really say it's a completely Christian album.

Anyone interested in forming a book, DVD, and music group for commenters, reviewers and raters please contact me. My thought is we'll meet a time or two per month similarly to the reading groups already in existence publicized officially by the library.

The goal would be to increase the amount of feedback provided concerning materials available through the JCL and Olathe libraries, though we'll enjoy no support nor publicity from the libraries. Getting that support requires a protracted effort and a long wait for bureaucratic approval.

Message me here if interested in participating or in helping put it together.

Thanks, Jack Purcell
