Peyton Manning is a veteran NFL quarterback, currently contracted to the Denver Broncos. Peyton's excellence as a quarterback is a product of his natural skill and proud NFL lineage. Peyton is the son of former New Orleans Saint quarterback Archie Manning and the brother of current New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. However, despite having to compete against his brother's and father's reputations, Peyton is widely recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation, if not in the history of the NFL. Peyton's all-time statistics as a quarterback are unbelievable. He has thrown for 399 touchdowns in his NFL career. From 1998 to 2010 he started 208 consecutive games for the Indianapolis Colts. He has completed nearly 65% of his passes in his career. He has won 4 MVP awards in his NFL career. He has been named to the Pro Bowl 11 times, and was named MVP of Super Bowl XLI in 2007 that saw his Colts defeat the Chicago Bears.
