A solid read that held my interest to try work out what actually happened. It was difficult to believe the relationship between Anna and Caro could've actually functioned for that long as it did as they were both fighting demons and realistically, I felt they couldn't genuinely have supported each other as suggested.

The author dealt with the subject matter of parenting a child with severe special needs with delicacy and sensitivity. She also handled the subject of miscarriage particularly well. Difficult to read in parts as it challenged my own beliefs as a parent.

Could you forgive your best friend for killing your child? That is the dilemma facing Anna and Caro. Both have children the same age and are a great support network for each other until the accident.
This is a great read if you enjoy books similar to Jodi Picoult.
