In October 2003, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, former head of the Russian oil company Yukos, was arrested on charges of tax evasion and fraud. This documentary uncovers the story behind his arrest and subsequent conviction, the story of a man who has transformed from the wealthiest man in Russia into a martyr for the cause of political freedom and rule of law. Includes footage from a meeting between Khodorkovsky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as newsreel interviews with Putin himself.

Interesting to see how the Russian oligarchs and President Putin got along. Lots of good commentary from people in high places that were involved at the time. As Mikhail was just recently released from prison in Russia, it will be interesting to see if he get's involved in Russian politics or not. Good documentary.

Interesting look at the intersection of business and politics in Russia. A little long and probably totally biased.
