Ashvin is in trouble and needs the Thea sister's help. They travel to India were the Maharajah is just arriving with his son. At the airport the maharajah's son falls in love with Colette because of her beautiful tinkling laugh. But there is a problem, they can't find Ashvin. They decide to go to his hotel room where a naughty little monkey steals Colette's phone. As they are looking for Ashvin they come across a magnificent dance academy. There they met a young dancer who said that Jaya, the naughty monkey was her friend and that she was sorry. She also said that Ashvin could be found at the Monkey Palace, the place where monkeys gathered in groups. They traveled there and found a snappy and rude monkey catcher. He caught a little monkey and put it in a net. It's mother was very sad. Unable to resist it, Paulina screamed "not the babies!" He turned his head and ta da! Ashvin jumped out of a bush snatched the net holding the baby monkey right out of the enormouse mouse's hands. Then the mouse chased Ashvin determined to resume his monkey catching business. But Ashvin was too fast for him and so he left the baby in front of the thea sisters and ran with the mouse right behind him =, who had realized he had put down the net but was still racing after him. Then the Thea sisters let the baby monley go back to his mother who was delighted to have her baby back. Then after that, the Thea sisters and Ashvin are at a party to welcome the maharajah and Ashvin's precious emerald is stolen by a pack of monkeys. Then they discover that the grumpy mouse who had been a monkey catcher was in charge of all the stealing. In the end, Ashvin and the Thea sisters(along with Jaya) help too save the monkeys that had been kidnapped and used to steal and together they sent the bad mice to jail. In the end, It was a great book with adventure and excitement all wrapped up to make it a very interesting and a great read overall.
