Add a CommentI was worried when I started this book-first that it would be a story about a pup who has a great life, then something happens to his family and he has to find a new one. Then I though he would have to find a new home after the baby was born. I was SO wrong! Louie's family loves him, and treat him as their baby. He doesn't understand what is going on, but his family is looking out for him, and everything works out wonderfully. The ending is a surprise, and I loved it.
Comedic look at having a new baby in the house, from the perspective of a chihuahua who is the center of his humans' attention. Humorous way to introduce the "only" child to the thought of having a sibling.
Very cute book. My three year old daughter loves the surprise ending.
