It’s a classic picture book, telling the story of a family of mother rabbit and four children rabbits. One of the children rabbits is the adventurous Peter. His adventure into Mr McGregor’s garden takes reader into the actions and the thrills of escaping for his dear life. Will he succeed in escaping? And what would be the cost of his adventure? The text is a bit long but the illustrations are very beautiful to keep readers engaged.

Originally published in 1903, Potter has been loved by generations on both sides of the Atlantic. In this, perhaps her most famous story, she follows the adventuresome Peter Rabbit as he gets into trouble in Mr. McGregor's garden. Potter's exquisite watercolors grace each page of this classic tale.

This is very strange...this comment was written for a children's board book using illustrations by another person but because both books are listed as being by Beatrix Potter the comment comes up for the original book and the obvious remake.

Why would you ever have a Peter Rabbit book not using Beatrix Potter illustrations????

I much prefer the original
