This is the latest in the Alex Benedict series which I have enjoyed greatly. This installment lacks the polish that the other ones had. It is two stories mashed together into one... it's like the author couldn't decide what to write about and so decided to write about both. Further, he's added too many references to current events in a story that is supposed to take place in 9000 years from now-- even a reference to his other series. Still worth reading if you liked the other books in his series, but this is probably one of the weakest.
