Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month 2023: 75 Books for Children, Teens & Adults

May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. While no one book (or even hundreds of books!) could fully reflect the diversity of the Asian American experience, we hope that this selection of recent releases will highlight current Asian American representation in print. #BPLAAPI This list was compiled by Boston Public Library staff: Liz Blake, Programs & Community Outreach Librarian at the Fields Corner Branch Library Celeste Bocchicchio-Chaudhri, Children's Librarian at the Roslindale Branch Meia Geddes, Web Services Librarian Chris Glass, Research Services Librarian at the Central Library M.H., Branch Staff Veronica Koven-Matasy (chair), Reader Services Supervisor at the Central Library Uma Murthy, Branch Librarian at the Brighton Branch Library Monica Shin, Digital Services Librarian Yan Wang, Branch Librarian at the Chinatown Branch Library
