BostonPL_Native Lives, Native Stories 2024: 70 Books for Children, Teens, & Adults

Native Lives, Native Stories is a list of books published in the previous year for children, teens, and adults concerning the experiences of the Native and Indigenous communities throughout North America. This list is part of the Boston Public Library's annual observance of Native American Heritage Month, since 2021. These books may be available in other formats or languages. Check our catalog for availability. LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT We would like to acknowledge the Massachusett Tribe. They are the tribe of indigenous peoples from whom the Colony, Province, and Commonwealth of Massachusetts have taken their name. We pay our respects to the ancestral bloodline of the Massachusett Tribe and their descendants who still inhabit historical Massachusett Tribe territories to this day.
